The eyewitnesses further noticed signs of severe torture.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Background:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On August 17<sup>th<\/sup> 2012 \u00a0Mr. Omeia came to <em>Abugibeiha<\/em> to celebrate the Eid festival after Ramadan with his family, then on Wednesday, August 22<sup>nd<\/sup> 2012 \u00a0he lost one of his relatives in <em>Tajmala<\/em> (about 32 km North of <em>Abojebeiha<\/em> or midway between <em>Abujeibaha <\/em>and <em>Rashad)<\/em> .<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Omeia went to <em>Tajmala <\/em>to offoer his condolences and on the same day at 2:00 PM 14:00 hrs (Sudan local time), he wanted to return to <em>Abugibeiha<\/em>. \u00a0At the bus station, Mr. Omeia was seen for the last time in a Land Cruiser Buffalo &#8211; Hardtop- (usually belongs to either \u00a0National Intelligence Security Services (NISS) or military services). The car was seen heading to the North towards <em>Rashad <\/em>in the opposite direction of <em>Abujibeiha<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Since then Mr. Omeia\u00a0disappeared completely until August 24<sup>th<\/sup> 2012 when he was seen\u00a0in the <em>Public Defense Headquarter<\/em>\u00a0by\u00a0a trusted source, \u00a0in <em>Rashad<\/em> (55 Km North to <em>Abugibeiha<\/em>.
