Sudanese National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) have arrested and charged \u201cBushra Gamar Hussein Rahma\u201d with espionage and organized work to topple the state, and allegedly tortured him while in custody. On August 14 , 2011, Bushra Gamar appeared before court and the judge decided to release him due to \u201cinsufficient evidences\u201d, but Sudanese NISS agents re-arrested him same day and took him to an unknown location.
\nRecommended Action:
\nPlease send faxes either in Arabic, English or in your own language:
\n\u2022\tExpressing concern at the arrest and continuing of detention of Bushra Gamar Rahma.
\n\u2022\tRequesting assurances that he is being humanly treated, that he has immediate and regular access to his family, lawyer, and any necessary medical attention.
\n\u2022\tUrging the Sudanese authorities to respect the court order and immediately and unconditionally release Bushra Gamar Hussein Rahma.
