These forces have imposed a siege on the island and set up a security checkpoint on the bridge connecting the island to the rest of the capital, preventing the island&#8217;s residents from leaving without written permission. <br><br>Tuti Island is suffering from a severe shortage of food, water, and electricity due to the siege. Communication services have been cut off, healthcare has been disrupted as the health center ceased operation, and a lack of medication has led to the tragic deaths of three individuals on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, according to human rights sources.
