Sudanese Human rights activist Dr. Bushra Gamar (47 years old) and Al-Sheikh Daheia Masar Musa (43 years) decided to go on hunger strike starting today MondaySeptember 26, 2011 until Sudanese authorities either set him free or try him before a court of law.<\/p>\n

Bushra\u00a0Gamar, is an X- Ray technician who heads a civil society organization was detained in Om Durman in 25th<\/sup> June 2011. Although a judge decided to throw away his detention order, \u201cagainst the wishes of the state security\u201d and a government attorney set him free accordingly, the national security agents re-arrested him on the spot, without any explanation.<\/p>\n

\n

Daheia Masar Musa, is an amateur teacher in a local charity school was detained from his village \u201cAradaiba\u201d in west Darfur in January 18, 2011 and remained in Kober Prison, Khartoum north until today without trial.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Recommended Action:
\n<\/strong>Please send faxes either in Arabic, English or in your own language:
\n\u2022 Expressing concern at the arrest and continuing of detention of Bushra Gamar Rahma and Daheia Masar Musa.
\n\u2022 Requesting assurances that they are being humanly treated, that they have immediate and regular access to their families, lawyer, and any necessary medical attention.
\n\u2022 Urging the Sudanese authorities to immediately and unconditionally release Bushra Gamar Hussein Rahma and Daheia Masar Musa.
