Artist ElShafei Dafalla Muhammad executed his announced hunger strike for two consecutive days (October 7-8, 2011) across from the White House, and despite the departure of Shafei his location outside the White House in the U.S. capital Washington D.C., but he is still on hunger strike in protest of prevention and disruption of the Sudanese government the efforts of the humanitarian relief in areas of the states of South Kordofan and Blue Nile, affected by military operations launched by the Sudanese armed forces against the forces of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLA) North.
