Adil Ibrahim Karrar has been subjected to torture. Adil is asthmatic, as sever disc pain as a result of extended hours of interrogation and standing up right; he has been kept a hanger with bad ventilation facility. His family wrote to the director of security, General Mohammed Atta but received no reply. In unjustified circumstances, his wife and two sons, Ibrahim (18 years) and Amro (13 years) been interrogated in the security offices in Khartoum North on Wednesday, April 27, 2011.

- Expressing concern at the arrest on January 30, 2011 and continuing of detention of Adil Ibrahim Karrar.
- Requesting assurances that he is being humanly treated, that he has immediate and regular access to his family, lawyer,any necessary medical attention, and stop harassing his family.
- Urging that he be immediately and unconditionally released or else be put on an open and fair trial.
